The City of Coburg participates in the State of Oregon ePermitting System. The program lets contractors use a variety of online services, including purchasing permits, submitting electronic plans for review, receiving correction notes, printing permits, tracking permit progress and getting a Certificate of Occupancy online. Architects and engineers can also submit documents through the system.
Oregon State Construction Code regulations affect all commercial, residential construction and some site development. This page describes common permit types that require a Building, Electrical, or Mechanical permit.
The City of Coburg contracts with the City of Cottage Grove for building permit services. Inspections can be scheduled online at the Oregon ePermitting link above.
Many Building Permits require a land use approval first. See Community Development for land use application types and procedures. Examples of land use applications include lot line adjustments, partitions, subdivisions, a significant change in use to a building, and some signs. Be prepared to pay Building Permit fees and associated systems development charges prior to permit issuance.

- Proposal review: The City will route the application to all applicable reviewers.
- Corrections: If a reviewer needs more information or a correction to be made, you will be contacted.
