Park & Tree Committee

The Park|Tree Committee advises City Council on matters pertaining to Parks, trails, street trees and related facilities.

  • Participate in and/or organize fundraising events, as approved by City Council, for the purpose of promoting donations for future park improvements;
  • Advises City Council on matters pertaining to public recreation, including playgrounds;
  • Utilizes the Parks and Open Space Master Plan as a guide to accomplish the goals as set forth within the Plan as adopted by City Council.

The Coburg Park Tree Citizen Advisory Committee is comprised of six members of the public and are appointed annually by City Council.

Meetings occur on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 PM at City Hall. Coburg Park Tree Citizen Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public.

Applications are accepted at any time even if there is no current opening. Your application is kept for one year and will be considered by the committee you apply to should an opening occur.
